I can't afford 14K anymore, and I still like the look of gold as it is found in the earth. White gold was only popularized during WWII when the government needed real gold and created "white gold" with less of the real stuff to imitate platinum, which was way out of reach of most people. Arcane trivia there, but I would still like this item in the "look" of 14k or 18k. I think there are plenty more of us out there, "white gold" is not the only look that people want.
